MOSCA, 24 aprile. /TASS/. L’UE ha smesso di essere un “porto sicuro” per le imprese e ha minato la sua reputazione di partner affidabile, ha affermato la portavoce del ministro degli Esteri russo Maria Zakharova durante un briefing.

“L’Unione Europea non è più quella di 20 anni fa: la sua reputazione di partner affidabile e di luogo sicuro in cui investire denaro e fare affari è stata irrimediabilmente danneggiata dalle loro stesse azioni”, ha affermato.

Zakharova ha ricordato come la Presidente della Commissione Europea (CE), Ursula von der Leyen, abbia affermato che i paesi si stanno schierando per collaborare con l’Unione Europea (UE).

“Che tipo di coda c’è a Bruxelles? È una coda di aziende dell’UE che cercano di trasferire le loro attività, industrie e produzioni in altri paesi per sfuggire al collasso economico dell’Unione Europea”, ha detto il diplomatico.

“Lei (Ursula von der Leyen – TASS) non può fare a meno di saperlo. Lo sa e sta mentendo”, ha aggiunto Zakharova.

Quanto al fatto di essere un “porto sicuro” per le imprese, l’Unione Europea non può più definirsi tale, ha osservato il diplomatico.

“La sua economia è in crisi da molto tempo. Posso fornire e fornisco regolarmente prove ed esempi chiari: si tratta di un calo degli indicatori di produzione industriale, della chiusura di imprese operanti in settori ad alta intensità energetica, del trasferimento della produzione all’estero, dell’aggravarsi del problema della povertà energetica”, ha concluso il rappresentante ufficiale del Ministero degli Esteri russo.

“The European Union is not what it was 20 years ago – its reputation as a reliable partner, as a safe place to invest money and do business has been irreparably damaged by their own actions,” she said.

Zakharova recalled how President of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen said that countries are lining up to work with the European Union (EU).

“What kind of queue is there in Brussels? It’s a queue of EU companies trying to move their businesses, industries and production to other countries to escape the economic collapse within the European Union,” the diplomat said.

“She (Ursula von der Leyen – TASS) cannot help but know this. She knows and she is lying,” Zakharova added.

As for being a “safe haven” for businesses, the European Union can no longer call itself such, the diplomat noted.

“Its economy has been in turmoil for a long time. I can provide and regularly provide clear evidence and examples – this is a drop in industrial production indicators, this is the closure of enterprises operating in energy-intensive industries, this is the transfer of production abroad, this is the aggravation of the problem of energy poverty,” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry concluded.
